Culturally Diverse Vegetables- BIPOC Farmer Meet-up

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Please note that this Community Conversation is for Black, Indigenous, People of Colour (BIPOC) farmers and aspiring farmers.

Join moderator Stéphanie Wang from Le Rizen Farm and presenter Michaela Cruz from Healing Hands Farm for a discussion on growing culturally diverse vegetable crops. Participants will also hear about related research opportunities through EFAO’s Farmer-Led Research Program, and will be able to connect with other growers (and aspiring growers!) of culturally diverse vegetables.

The goal of this community chat is to amplify opportunities for BIPOC growers to gather and share among one another, an opportunity that can be lacking at farming conferences.

Do you have ideas for topics related to culturally diverse vegetable production that you would like to discuss during this (or future) sessions? Please fill out this form by 9am on Wednesday, December 1st.

 * Based on community consultation, EFAO is offering some educational spaces intentionally for community building and knowledge sharing among Black, Indigenous and other farmers of colour.*
